EXIM Thailand Joins Forces with Alliances in Samut Prakan
Ms. Charat Rattanaboonniti, Executive Vice President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), together with Mrs. Nuchjaree Pakdeecharoen, Executive Vice President of Islamic Bank of Thailand (ibank), and Mr. Paisan Promyong, President of the Islam Council of Samut Prakan Province, jointly launched the seminar “New Dimensions, Golden Opportunities for Thai Halal,” to enhance the capabilities of SMEs in Samut Prakan and nearby areas, enabling them to export halal products to international markets, at the Office of Islamic Committee of Samut Prakan on November 20, 2024.
This initiative represents a collaborative effort between EXIM Thailand and ibank to provide knowledge and understanding of halal products, trends in international trade and investment, guidelines for obtaining halal certification, and opportunities for trading expansion through business matching activities and participation in domestic and international trade exhibitions. The program also facilitates access to financial resources and financial tools to strengthen business capabilities and manage trade and investment risks, creating new business opportunities in the global market.
