SCB Extends THB 1.745 Billion Financing to The NinesotelGroup
Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has provided THB 1.745 billion in financing to The Ninesotel Co., Ltd., the operator of Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa. To commemorate this significant milestone, representatives from both organizations gathered for a celebratory photo. Pictured are Mr. Tanapot Parksuwan, Chief Corporate and Institutional Banking Officer of SCB; Mr. Rungsan Ongsaranakom, Head of Corporate Banking 3; Mr. Krisda Mahadumrongkul, Chairman of The Ninesotel Co., Ltd.; and Mrs. Vipavan Mahadumrongkul, Managing Director of The NinesotelCo., Ltd.
This collaboration aims to support The Ninesotel Group’s business operations by enhancing its service capabilities and strengthening its capacity to accommodate the growing number of high-quality tourists, a segment that continues to expand steadily.
As part of its development plan, Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa will renovate its existing 257 guestrooms to further enhance the property’s aesthetics and continuously improve guest experiences. The project also includes an expansion featuring 20 luxury pool villas ranging from 150 to 440 square meters, as well as a signature Japanese restaurant, an onsen, and a clubhouse within the resort. These additions are designed to cater to the increasing demand from affluent travelers and family-oriented guests, both of which remain high-growth market segments.
In addition, The Ninesotel Group plans to expand its future investments into new hotel projects in major tourism destinations across Thailand, including Phuket and Koh Samui, in line with the long-term growth outlook of Thailand’s tourism industry.
This financing support reflects SCB’s strong confidence in Thailand’s hotel and tourism sectors, which continue to serve as key drivers of the country’s economy. Currently, SCB is the financial institution with the largest hotel business loan portfolio in Thailand.
