Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) partners with Accenture to accelerate the digital capabilities of its employees
Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) provides efficient, reliable electricity services for developing quality of life, sustainability of economics and society of Thailand. The organisation is transforming at speed to become a leading digital utility organisation in Thailand and has embarked on various initiatives with ecosystem partners.
One of PEA’s missions is to upskill its employees and take advantage of digital technologies to drive a culture of innovation that enhance customer experiences and meet the challenges of the industry. A key initiative is the PEA Innovation Hub which brings their employees together to unleash their potential and think out of the box in a fun and open learning environment.
PEA collaborates with Accenture, who has experience in supporting digital transformation for leading organisations around the world, to help PEA accelerate its digital capabilities and co-create solutions to the most challenging issues today. This includes:
- Equipping PEA employees with digital skills and knowledge through Accenture’s LEAP school. The open academy allows participants to experience latest technologies and gain knowledge from experts and leading companies on succeeding in a digital world.
- Training PEA innovation hub’s key personnel to improve their digital know-how and adopt agile ways of working
- Working with PEA to implement design thinking and agile methodologies in their business processes to increase the company’s productivity and efficiency
Accenture recently also helped PEA build their digital roadmap and set up a digital office to achieve its strategic objectives and transform the organisation to be a leading “Digital Utility” in Thailand by 2022.
