EXIM Thailand Invites Applications for the Position of President Until March 21, 2025
The President Nomination Committee of EXIM Thailand has announced the nomination process to select a qualified candidate for appointment as EXIM Thailand’s President. The application period runs from March 7-21, 2025.
Mr. Chantanon Wannakejohn, Director of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) as Chairman of the President Nomination Committee of EXIM Thailand, revealed that EXIM Thailand has initiated a nomination and selection process for a new President. Applicants must be Thai nationals and not older than 58 on the application date. They must have no disqualifying characteristics under the Standard Qualifications of State Enterprise Directors and Officials Act, B.E. 2518 (1975) and its amendments as well as the Notification of the Bank of Thailand No. SorKorSor. 13/2562. Qualified candidates must possess strong knowledge, competence and experience in banking and finance, marketing and the international economy. They must have at least 10 years of experience in a financial institution and organizational management, including at least one year in an executive position no lower than one rank below the top executive (N-1 level) of the organization with an annual asset turnover of at least 50,000 million baht. Candidates should have expertise in credit operations and management, an excellent command of Thai and English, and proven leadership and vision in people management and development. They must also demonstrate sound judgment in decision making and problem solving. Additionally, they must have displayed a personality trait that can be a good example of an executive with adherence to the code of conduct and ethics under corporate governance principles. EXIM Thailand President’s term of office is 4 years and not beyond the age of 60.
