SCB and Phyathai Phaholyothin Hospital Revolutionize Healthcare!
Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) with Phyathai Phaholyothin Hospital, part of the Phyathai-Paolo hospital network, recently revealed a significant alliance, holding a press conference to announce a new “SCB Telecare Stroke Fast Track” feature on Line OA. The new service will promote health and improve stroke care for SCB employees nationally, particularly those who are at risk or have already been impacted. This effort supports SCB’s commitment to enhancing employee health.
Mr. Kris Chantanotoke, Chief Executive Officer of Siam Commercial Bank, underlined the importance of staff member wellness, which is fundamental to the organization’s success and effectiveness. Since early 2020, SCB has collaborated with Phyathai Phaholyothin Hospital to develop the SCB Telecare project. This initiative leverages telemedicine and proactive healthcare technology to provide employees with convenient access to health information and medical treatment online, anytime and anywhere. This project has been very well-received and has proven to be an essential tool for employee care, especially during the COVID-19 outbreak, allowing efficient delivery of medicine and medical supplies to employees’ homes.
SCB continues to enhance employee healthcare, particularly in addressing strokes, an emergency requiring urgent treatment within 4.5 hours (the Golden Period) after symptoms are detected to increase the chances of a normal recovery. To this end, SCB has expanded its collaboration with Phyathai Phaholyothin Hospital to launch a new feature, ‘SCB Telecare Stroke Fast Track’. This feature enhances the ability to care for employees at risk of stroke, ensuring they receive prompt and efficient treatment via the easily accessible and convenient Line OA platform.

One in every four people with risk factors such as diabetes, high blood pressure, smoking, or obesity suffers a stroke. Neurological and brain diseases, such as hemorrhagic stroke, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and dementia, are life-threatening and complicated, need expert medical care. Given that most strokes have no early warning indications, if symptoms such as blurred vision, dizziness, limb weakness, or slurred speech appear, urgent treatment is required to increase survival and recovery prospects.
