12-2-2019–Today cabinet approvedFriday April 12 of this year as the additional special holiday for Songkrantfestiveal or Thai traditional new year or Family Day,
which formerly was set to have two weekdays off on April 15-16, next to Saterday-Sunday April 13-14.By the additional holiday approved today, Thai people will have five consecutive days off in coming Songkrand Festival to propmote good relationship among family members and to promote Thailand’s tourism for leisures.
