4-2-2019–Thailand Inno Space will sign MOU with Hong Kong Cyber Port on 28 Feb 2019, to support Thailand create fast trackStart Up sustainable growth.vThe signing ceremony will be held at Centara Grand Hotel at Central World.
DPM Somkid Jatusripitsk requested Vice Industry Minister Mr.Santi Kiranant Vice Minister of Ministry of Industry who is leading the project to change the name of In no Space to Cyber Port Thailand or change the new name instead of using Inno Space or using Cyber Port in order to be easier to gain acceptance and understanding from relevant steakholder in start up business investment eco-system.DPM Somkid also called Ministry of Industry to help looking for and contacting with the suitable qualified person to work as the leader of the new orgarnization, such as Mr.Thewin Wongwanit, PTT ex-CEO and Mr.Werepong Malai, Deputy Rector of Bangkok University who is also Directer of BEDO(Bio Economic Development Office (Public Organization)
Mr.Santi Kiranant said the objective of Thailand Inno Space Project is focusing on Deeptech covering real sectors including Bio-industry , which wider than Hong Kong Cyber Port that focusing only on FINTEC. the process changing the name is not difficult, if he can find more specific name for the project .
Thailand Inno Space project will be registered as a private company limited with 500 million baht innitial registered capital.Provate secter such as C.P., Thai Beverage. Crime , BBL(Bangkok Bank), SMEs Bank, Krungthai Bank
will join invest in 90-95% of the share while the relevant government agency that could be NECTEC will invest 5-10% of the total share.,said Vice Minister, Santi Kiranant.
The MOU signing will be sign by Peter Yang of Director of Hong Kong Cyber Port and Thailand’s General Director, Department of Industry Promotion, according to Mr.Santi.
