BOI-DPM Somkid Making First 2019 Roadshow in Kansai, Japan.
Focus On Pulling Prefecture’s Prominent Industries to Invest in Thailand.
28-1-2019—BOI to join the Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak and Minister of The Prime Minister’s Office Kobsak Phu’trakul, Minister of Digital for Economic and Social Ministry Mr.Pichet Durongkaweroj with EEC Office and relevant agencies will making the first oversea roadshow trip for the year 2019, to join the activities in the Kansai’s three major provinces; Osaka Wakayama and Kyoto, between January 30 to February 2, 2019. The trip is aiming to have the seminar to build confidence in Thailand potential and investment policy focusing on local level co-operations in the targeted industries to expand the investment to continue enhancing Thai-Japan competitiveness.

The Deputy Prime Minister and the delegation will join the activities in the three major provinces of Kansai, including Osaka, Wakayama and Kyoto. Currently, Kansai is an important commercial and industrial center which has a large company and many SMEs, all of which have advanced technology development Both bio-technology, medicine, medical equipment, environment and energy, such as lithium ion fuel cell and solar cells, etc., as well as the research and development center of Kansai.
This opportunity, BOI will hold a seminar on “Thailand: Advancing ASEAN-Japan Partnership” on January 31, 2019 in Osaka, expected to have more than 500 operators of Osaka and nearby areas attended.
