KL teams with Neta Auto in supporting the use of EVs
KASIKORN LEASING Co., Ltd. (KLeasing) has been appointed as an authorized auto loan provider of Neta Auto (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a Neta EV manufacturer and distributor. KLeasing will offer car loan to retail and business clients in a comprehensive manner to support the use of green vehicles in alignment with the ‘GO GREEN Together’ initiative of KASIKORNBANK which aims to encourage all Thais to embrace a green society. The company has also launched a promotional campaign wherein customers who buy a Neta EV with KLeasing will enjoy special interest rates, starting at 1.79 percent with down payment of only 10 percent, together with a worry-free 90-day free drive, during Big Motor Sale 2022, from August 19-31.
Mr. Tirachart Chiracharasporn, KLeasing Managing Director, said, “Guided by the ‘GO GREEN Together’ project for which KBank is the first bank in Thailand that has linked with and promoted a comprehensive Green Ecosystem, with the aim of helping Thai people to embrace a green lifestyle, KLeasing has launched the Green Zero campaign for electricity vehicles (EVs), which has received overwhelming response from customers. As part of KLeasing’s continuing efforts to promote its environmental stewardship policy, the company has joined forces with Neta Auto (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a manufacturer and distributor of Neta battery electric vehicles (BEVs), to support BEV adoption. KLeasing has been appointed as an authorized auto loan service provider for retail and business clients, including auto loan (new car) or Dealer Floorplan. Additionally, special privileges will be offered to customers who buy a Neta EV and apply for an auto loan with KLeasing. They will enjoy a minimum interest rate of 1.79 percent p.a. with a down payment of only 10 percent, plus a worry-free 90-day free drive, during Big Motor Sale 2022, from August 19-31. Interested persons can apply for new EV car loan at www.kasikornbank.com.
Mr. Tirachart added that the BEV market has quickly become more active thanks to the government’s supportive measures and positive feedback from car buyers amid rising oil prices. Sales of new BEVs in the first six months of this year reached 3,097 units, compared to only 2,560 units last year. On top of this were BEV bookings during and just after the Bangkok International Motor Show 2022, which are now in the car delivery process. KResearch projects that EV sales this year may reach approximately 10,000 units, or growth of more than 412.0 percent YoY, with total value of not less than 10,000 million Baht.
