CPF Unveiled Invest 150 Billion Baht In Five Years/ Target 800 Billion Baht Revenue.
4-7-2019–At Curineur 5th Floor Emporium today CPF new appointed CEO, Mr.Prasit Boondoungprasert unveiled at the press conference that CPF plan to invest 150 billion baht in five years during 20192013), average 30 billion baht/year(Merger and acquisition investment not included) and expected in total approximate 800 Billion Baht revenue in the same period.
“Currently CPF’s revenue contributed by export ftomThailanf over 30% and from selling in oversea 67%.In the future the ratio export from Thailand will reduced to 25% and selling over sea will be increased to 75%.” said Mr.Prasit.“CPF will focus mainly on foods industry not feed and farm in order to adding on more business value as the world’s kitchen.” In 2019 CPF plan to continue invest in two major projects; Foods Industry in China and Chicken Complex in Vietnam (located on BINH PHUOC Industrial Estate, close to Hanoi City) which aim to start operation in Q4/2020. CPF’s CEO unveiled that CPF Chicken Complex in Vietnam target to produce one million chickens/year after start its operation and plan to raise its production capacity to two million chicken/year in the future. “We had Vietnam’s Minister accompanied CPF to meet Japan’s large importers namely Sumitomo and Itoshu last month and had concluded the plan aiming export to Japan market.”“Japan market will appreciate that CPF having Chicken Complex in Vietnam as it will be good for them to have more production supply base that able to optimize trade condition benefit, while CPF can develop value chain to response to the expanding market.” CPF’s also disclosed about a najot purchasing case CPF dealing with Hylife company in Canada that, it is waiting for the Anti-Trust law inspection process, foresee that CPF could reach the purchasing agreement with My life Canada in October this year, according to CEO of CPF.
