KBank earmarks cash reserves of 27.2 billion Baht
KASIKORNBANK plans to allocate cash reserves of 27.2. billion Baht for KBank Branches and K-ATMs to serve customers during the upcoming Chinese New Year festival, February 7-10, 2024. Of that total, 9.2 billion Baht is for branches nationwide, including 3.9 billion Baht for branches in Bangkok and the remaining 5.3 billion Baht for branches in other provinces. Currently, KBank has a total of 813 branches nationwide.
A total of 18.0 billion Baht is reserved for over 9,100 K-ATMs across the country, 7.5 billion Baht of which for K-ATMs in Bangkok and the remaining 10.5 billion Baht for K-ATMs in other provinces.
In celebration of the Chinese Year of the Dragon 2024, KBank is distributing “Ang Pao” or red envelopes that feature the lucky saying, “Prosperity, Wealth, God Fortune and Happiness”. These “Ang Pao” envelops depict a dragon with money and gold, which symbolize opulence and infinite wealth, according to Chinese beliefs. Made from environmentally friendly green offset paper, a total of 2.5 million red envelops are for customers to put money in and give to others during the Chinese New Year holiday. They are now available at any KBank branch nationwide from today onwards.
