KBank offers eight graduate scholarships in 2022
seeking high-caliber personnel with meta- skills and resilience to change – for the future workforce
KASIKORNBANK is seeking highly capable personnel to strengthen its workforce and thus advance the Bank’s strategies towards the new financial era. To this end, the Bank will hold an examination for eight graduate scholarships in 2022 at both local and international institutions in the most sought-after fields, namely business administration, finance, risk management, financial technology statistics, entrepreneurship, environmental management, sustainability and human resources. Applications are open from now until April 30, 2022, at KBank’s website, in the News & Activities or Careers & Scholarships pages. KBank holds the view that meta-skills, learning agility and resilience to change are a must for the future workforce.
Ms. Sansana Sukhanunth, KBank Executive Vice President, said that human resource development is vital in driving an organization towards the set goal. Determined to develop employee potential and ability, KBank has upskilled and reskilled our staff members to ensure that they are always ready to cope with new challenges. Along with this, we are seeking new personnel to strengthen our workforce in our business development. Qualified applicants must have hard skills, soft skills and meta-skills, all of which are essential in the ever-evolving business world.
KBank is now offering eight scholarships for master’s degree programs in 2022 at both local and international institutions with the aim of seeking high-caliber members of the new generation who want to gain in-depth knowledge in the most sought-after fields so that they can join KBank workforce and advance the Bank’s business, create services and strengthen work team capabilities in coping with existing and new challenges. Details of the scholarship programs are as follows:
1. Graduate scholarships at international institutions in countries chosen by KBank, namely the US, UK, France, Switzerland, Japan, China, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Singapore.
The academic fields selected by KBank include Master of Business Administration (MBA), finance, financial engineering, international business, risk management, mathematics, financial technology – fintech statistics, and business analytics (US only), as well as courses or programs related to current and future financial and banking businesses such as entrepreneurship, environmental management, sustainability and human resources.
2. Graduate scholarships at local institutions, namely Sasin School of Management, Chulalongkorn University and Thammasat University for the academic fields chosen by KBank, including Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Financial Engineering (MFE), Master of Science in Finance (MSF) and Master in Finance (MIF), and Master of Science in Marketing (MIM).
Qualified applicants for business data analytics study must not be older than 28 years old, while applicants for study in other academic fields must not be older than 30 years old and are required to complete a bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants for scholarships at international institutions must submit their test scores of language proficiency, and GMAT or GRE per the criteria, together with their applications.

Ms. Sansana added that, upon completing their graduate studies, KBank scholarship recipients will be working with KBank under departments that hold strategic importance for KBank, maintaining its operations under the principles of a Bank of Sustainability and dedicated to empowering every customer’s life and business. KBank aims to develop its services through technology and collaboration with its partners, establishing the Bank as a highly flexible organization that is consistently ready to learn and cope with changes. This would help expand KBank’s operations in Thailand and on a regional scale within AEC+3, cementing KBank as a principal financial institution serving Thailand’s economy.
KBank has been holding an examination for graduate scholarships at both local and international institutions annually since 1966, for a total of 56 years. KBank scholarship recipients are considered a driving force of the Bank, and serve in key roles across many leading business organizations in Thailand.
