Krungsri reaffirms its commitment to being ‘Regional Bank’
Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL and its business units) reinforces its position as a ‘Regional Bank’ with the launch of digital banking in the Philippines through SB Finance (SBF), the consumer finance company, which is a joint venture between Krungsri and the Philippines’ SBC (Security Bank Corporation). The launch of this new mobile application platform offers a full-scale digital lending service that allows Filipinos to access and apply for various flagship loan products easier, faster, and more conveniently.
Mr. Pairote Cheunkrut, Krungsri Chief Strategy Officer said, “Krungsri continues to build ASEAN Connectivity for the benefit of customers. Last year, SB Finance, our consumer finance business in the Philippines, a joint venture between Krungsri and the Philippines’ SBC, focused on building brand awareness through a series of communication campaigns and launching various flagship products such as personal loans and Car4Cash. We have also leveraged our expertise in products and marketing to fully support SB Finance to develop products that meet customers’ needs and behaviors in the Philippines. They have been well received, resulting in an outstanding loan of 4,300 million baht at the end of 2021. Today, we are very pleased that SB Finance is moving to the next level by enhancing the superior financial experience with a new mobile application platform launch integrated with a digital lending service as a key feature. This makes it easier, faster, and more convenient for customers to access our various financial products as one of our strategies to expand customer base and build customer engagement via superior financial experience through digital channels”.
Abbie Casanova, President & CEO of SB Finance said, “Our vision at SB Finance is to be the trusted and preferred financial partner to Filipinos empowering them to make financial decisions for their present needs. Part of that vision is to deliver a customer-centric digital journey through our newly launched mobile app, zukì.”
Through zukì, SB Finance aims to improve customers’ financial literacy and help them transition from the traditionally complicated financial service roadmap to an easy-to-understand, needs-based, digital consumer experience.
As Filipinos download the zukì mobile app, they will be able to choose SB Finance’s vast product offerings, such as its newly launched Hoologan and MotorsikLOAN products. Its maiden offerings, Car4Cash and Personal Loan will also be available in-app.
