Bangkok Bank, represented by Executive Vice President Pochanee Kongkalai, joined Provincial Electricity Authority Governor Supachai Ek-Un to offer financial support for homeowners seeking to install solar rooftops with PEA with a Bualuang Poonphol Green Loan. The loan is designed for customers wishing to take out a loan for home improvements using clean or renewable energy, while using their debt-free house as collateral, as well as for current Bangkok Bank home loan customers or customers who refinance with Bangkok Bank and apply for an extended credit limit. These customers are entitled to the first offer which is the special interest rate of MRR -1% per annum throughout the contract with repayment up to 10 years and free appraisal. The second offer is for the first 200 customers who are approved for and take out a loan of 500,000 baht or more by June 30, 2023. They will also get a Central Group e-Voucher worth 2,000 baht.
“Bangkok Bank as a trusted partner stands ready to provide loans with special interest rates and other benefits to enable customers to use clean energy and save electricity costs. Particularly during the hot season, many households leave their air conditioners on for a long time to ease the heat causing the electricity bills to double. The installation of the solar rooftop is an investment to reduce energy costs in the long run and more importantly, helps conserve the environment. It helps drive Thailand towards a low-carbon society while aligning with the Bank’s goal to support sustainability in all dimensions,” said Ms. Pochanee.
