SAAM Thai-Japan Renew Power Plant Developer Appointed Finansia asLead Underwriter to Sell 80 Million IPO Shares in new year 2019.
12-12-2018–Today at Stock Exchange of Thailand SAAM ( SAAM Energy Development Public Company Limited) appointed Trinity Securities, limited as lead underwriter and the others three Co-Underwriters ; Finansia, KGIand Nomura to join distributing its capital increased 80 million IPO common shares at 1.80 Baht/share.
SAAM’s IPO will be available to be
subscribed between 24-27 December 2018 and expected to be listed on MAI in January 2019.
SAAM found invester have good interested in its certain revenue base throughout 20 years with good future trend to continue expand its income and profit from the potential to take the share to develop its renewable power plant in ASEAN, Japan and Taiwan which in total aiming to develope 260,000 mw of renewable power Plant within next 20
years, according to global agreement target to have 20 % or around 1.2 million mw renewable energy to solve climate change.
SAAM is the operater developing renewable power plant for sale both in Thailand and oversea.
SAAM’s business divided into ;
1) In Thailand, SAAM has 17 solar power projects on 750 rai of land in Angthong, Petchburi, Lopburi, Ubonratchatani, and Prjuabkirikhan province which created about 75% of its total income.
2) Develop Renewable Power Plant to sell to the target group both In Thailand and oversea.Now SAAM focusing on Eight(8) companies in Japan developing Eight (8) Bio-Mass power plants in Japan for sale which two (2)of 19.9 mw BioMass power plant projects located on Oita Prefecture had received 20 years electricity cost support agreement provided by METI to support to purchase its electricity troght grid at 24 Yen/Kilowat Hour ( ~7 Baht/Kilowatt Hour) which is the higest price in Japan.
The commercial operation date (COD) of the project is plan to be in the year 2022.The invester who purchase the two projects in Oita will be able to gain
the income from the 24 Yen/unit fixed price for 20 years.
3) Invest in 25 years purchasing contract 2.0 mw solar power plant in Pattananikom, Lilburi province, selling at 5.66 Baht/kw hour which has been operating since 30 December, 2015.
SAAM revenue structure in the first six(6) months of 2019 was 36.4 million baht comprised of 27.5 million baht from power plant location rental fee and services (security fares and cleaning service.,etc), 8.5 million baht from the yield gained from solar power plant.
“We develop renewable power plant with 12-18% return on equity (ROE)aiming to serve both the power plant operater who require more renewable power plant to put into their port and the new invester who ready to invest in renewable energy power plant business.We also look forward to invest in wood pellet plant and to deal with major Japanes trading companies to sustain the wood pellet supply for the Bio-Mas power plants at the long term fixed price.”
“The others six(6) projects in Japan would be located on the Central and North of Japan which now SAAM has been dealing with local alliance for the location nearby grid.Which type of renewable energy will be for each location will be depend on the condition that Match the best for SAAM business in the future.”According to Mr.PodDuang Kongkamee Chief Executive Officer of SAAM Energy Development Public Company Limited.
It was expected that 80 milion IPO common shares would rais 180 million baht for SAAM to use in the following purposes ;
1) To invest not over 15 million baht in each of the two Oita Bio-Mass Power Plants by the year 2019 or not over 30 million baht in total.
2) To invest not over 50 million baht to joint venture with others company doing the renewable energy related business such as wood pellet plant to produce bio-mass fuel serve the demand of 20 years purchasing contracts of Oita BioMass power plants., etc.
3)To return the loan not over 16 million baht to the loan SAAM owe a commercial bank in Thailand by the year 2020.
4) To use as the working capital by the year 2020 not over 36.5 million baht.
