Chevron supports Thai Red Cross Society’s in helping patients
Miss Pornsuree Konanta (right), corporate affairs vice president, Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., recently represented the company in presenting a fund of 859,000 baht to Mrs. Chanprapa Wichitchonchai (left), deputy director of the Office of the Revenue Department, Thai Red Cross Society, which will contribute to the Extended OPD building (The Out – Patient Department) construction of Chulalongkorn Hospital. Moreover, the donation will also be contributed to Chulalongkorn Hospital’s Thai Red Cross Emerging Infectious Diseases Clinical Center.
The donation was part of the activities under “Chevron Humankind program”, held in March 2022. The main objective of the program is to encourage staff to provide hands-on support for their communities by donating money to support 10 charitable organizations of their choice. The company has subsequently tripled the employee contributions, bringing the total amount to over 2,500,000 baht this time. Chevron Humankind program has been running since 2015 and has donated a total of more than 22,000,000 baht to various charitable organizations under the program.
