The private inspector must first obtain a certification from the Department of Industrial Works and more importantly, the supervision of private inspectors is strict.If a private investigator produces a false report, it will be imprisoned or fined or both.

Mr. Prasert Tapaniyangkun, Secretary-General of the Council of Engineers, said the new Factory Act is expected to come into effect in late October. It is an opportunity for those who have a license to operate a controlled engineering profession in the civil, mechanical, electrical, industrial, environmental, and chemical industries which there are about a hundred thousand people tend to be qualified as the factory in spector, according to the new Factory Act that
provides an opportunity for private inspectors to inspect factories or machine instead of the official competent.
Initially, the Council of Engineers had a proposal to the Ministry of Industry, requesting relief from the engineers who received a license from the Council of Engineers, do not have to take the certification examination with the Ministry of Industry again, in order
to be able to prepare the factory inspector or the machine immediately.
