SCB introduces SCB Cross Border Payment Tracking
In response to robust international trade and Thailand’s reopening, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has introduced an SCB Cross Border Payment Tracking service that lets business operators check the status of international fund transfers by themselves on www.scb.co.th. The real-time service is quick and conveniently available 24/7 for tracking payments to some 4,400 recipient banks that are SWIFT gpi members in 211 countries worldwide.
Mr. Thanawatn Kittisuwan, SCB Executive Vice President and Head of the GTS and Ecosystem Function, said that domestic and international economic activities have resumed growth with the full reopening of countries, amid an era where international business is increasingly tech-driven. Particularly, import-export business will actively rebound and lead to growth in international payments and fund transfers. In response to these trends, SCB is set to facilitate business sectors with making seamless and secure international transactions. SCB Cross Border Payment Tracking lets business operators and consumers conveniently track the status of international payments and fund transfers by themselves on www.scb.co.th. After making an international fund transfer at any SCB branch, on SCB Business Net, or SCB Business Anywhere websites, customers can track the status of transactions on www.scb.co.th24/7 by scanning the QR code as per the debit advice or the MT103 document for payment confirmation. The system will display the transaction status on a real-time basis, letting customers keep up with transaction results and continue other follow-up transactions right away.
“We are confident that SCB Cross Border Payment Tracking will help businesses with smooth business and liquidity management, so that they can plan budgets in a timely manner, increase investment opportunities, and better manage costs and creditability. We are also confident that the service will support long-term business relationships between Thai businesses and their international trade partners.” Mr. Kittisuwan added.
