Four interesting issues cabinet approved in December 18, 2019.
1) Dr.Kobsak Pootrakul Minister of Prime Minister Office disclosed aftercabinet meeting that to say cabinet approved to establish Office of Inequality Elimination to be the central agency responsible in regulating the related agency to work together for the same goal of the nation.
The policy committee chair by Prime Minister and The executive committee chair by Minister of Prime Minister Office will be also formed to suggest and direct the related agencies including Ministry of ; Finance, Public Health,Social and Human Security Development ., etc to handle over 800 Billion Baht Budget a year welfare related budget to have Thailand to archive the goal of better GINI Coefficience inequality Index.
Minister Kobsak saide this new office will work closely with NESDB, Budget Bureau to develop Thailand for better GINI Coeficiebce Index.
2) Dr.Pichet Durobgkaweroj Minister of Digital and Economic (D.E.) disclosed after the Cabinet meeting that today cabinet approved Cyber Security Bill to handle more cyber crime happening nowadays and to protect Thai people from missusage their personal data.
The Bill will be proceed to National Legitimacy Assembly for the bill to be enacted soon, according to D.E.Minister.
3) Mr.Danupong Poonakabt Government Spokesman disclosed that cabinet today approved SMEs Bank to provide not over 21 billion baht special interest loan for SMEs’ financial restructure.Each project contract will be no longer than seven year The loan of this measure will be gurantee by Ministry of Finance.
4) Cabinet Approved 1-15 Feb 5%Vat Free ePayment Promptpay.Cabinet approved 5%Vat free for 15 days during Chinese New year Festival for whom using ID number register their promtpay account before February 1, 2019 and using their
debit card shopping not over 15,000 Baht through their ID promptpay channel during the period.The measure is aiming to promote more ePayment through promptpay channel, according to Mr.Puttipong Poonakant Government Spokesman.
