SCB collects six FX awards from Refinitiv
SCB reinforcing its leading position on the USD-THB market in Thailand
Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) recently had the honor of receiving six FX awards at the 2021 FX Awards event held by Refinitiv, a global provider of financial market data and infrastructure that is a subsidiary of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). The awards received include Best USD/THB FX Bank, First Runner Up Best Foreign Currency FX Bank, and Best Contributor in the Overnight Index Swap, Interest Rate Swap, Local CCY, and FX Matching categories. The achievement underlines SCB’s leadership in the financial industry as a foreign exchange service provider trusted by corporate customers in Thailand, particularly as the leading USD/THB exchange provider. At the latest award event, SCB was represented by Patrick Poulier, Executive Vice President and Head of the Financial Markets Function.
Speaking about the latest achievement, Mr. Poulier said, “SCB is incredibly honored to receive these six accolades from Refinitiv, particularly the Best USD/THB FX Bank and First Runner-Up Best Foreign Currency FX Bank categories. The achievement is a result of our dedication to developing financial services that meet the needs of our clients. This occasion’s success is attributed to three significant factors: 1) corporate clients in Thailand’s confidence and trust in utilizing our services; 2) the use of technology through the FX Online system to facilitate customers. SCB is the first bank in Thailand to service consumers with a high volume of transactions 24 hours a day; and 3) consistently bringing fresh campaigns to customers. SCB’s Financial Markets Function consists of a group of money market experts who work closely with customers to provide them with the best possible guidance. SCB would like to thank our corporate clients for their unwavering confidence and our team members for their unwavering support of customers in every circumstance, which has enabled it to acquire multiple prestigious accolades this year.”
