KBTG to hold KBTG Inspire Season 2
KASIKORN Business-Technology Group (KBTG) will launch KBTG Inspire Season 2 to encourage IT enthusiasts at all levels – new graduates, career people and experts in multiple fields – to showcase their skills and prove their capabilities. Numerous tech gurus will join the event to share their knowledge and valuable experience to spark inspiration among attendees, who will have a chance to participate in career mentorship sessions and workshops to hone their skills. KBTG aims to add more than 700 new staff members to its workforce to grow with the company at both the national and regional levels.
Ms. Charassri Phaholyotin, KBTG Chief IT Operation Officer, said that as a leading tech company in Thailand, KBTG has never ceased to develop innovations and financial technology systems for the sake of customer convenience. Along with this, we are seeking high-caliber new generation talents with a ‘think outside the box’ mindset to join our workforce in driving KBTG to become the Best Tech Organization of Southeast Asia within 2025. The company also strives to support KBank, which is branching out into the AEC+3 market via digital banking services. KBTG Inspire Season 2 has therefore been organized to offer people at all levels in the IT industry an opportunity to prove their own potential while also finding the inspiration to become an IT specialist in order to work with a leading Thai technology company like KBTG. Although KBTG Inspire was held online last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it received overwhelming response from people in the IT industry.
KBTG Inspire Season 2 is scheduled to be held online on Saturday, March 26, 2022, via four interesting activities, as follows:
“Agile Playground” is a fun activity that offers participants a chance to learn how to work in an agile way, which has been widely adopted by leading technology organizations, via a simulation game, based on real-world operations at KBTG.
“1:1 Career Mentorship” is a counseling activity to better help participants achieve success. A mentor from each operating field at KBTG will offer participants personal guidance on self-development for 30 minutes per session.
“Upskill Workshop” has been designed by KBTG professional staff members to provide participants the skills that are required for actual operations.
“Inspire Talk”, a new activity for this year, is a special talk session in which tech gurus from KBTG and a special guest will be invited to share their knowledge, skills, plus business and IT experiences in order to give inspiration to all participants.
Individuals who would like to participate in KBTG Inspire Season 2 and join KBTG can submit their resumes for their desired positions via www.kbtginspire.com from today until March 22, 2022, to automatically join KBTG Inspire on Saturday, March 26, 2022. This year, KBTG has up to 55 job openings in Dev, Data Infrastructure, Design, Cyber & IT Security, as well as other support positions and many other interesting positions in new business units like Kubix, an ICO portal service provider which recently unveiled the DESTINY TOKEN, the first digital token of its kind; and KASIKORN X (KX), a new S-curve factory that has just debuted Coral – a non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace platform. Regarding the job application process at KBTG, applicants with qualifications matching the details specified for the positions will be contacted, then proceed to the test/interview round.
