Bangkok Bank joins with “Big C” to expand its banking agent service at more than 1,600 Big C
Bangkok Bank continues to expand its banking agent services by recently appointing Big C Supercenter as a new banking agent to provide convenient and secure cash deposits at check-out counters of more than 1,600 Big C branches. This reinforces the ‘trusted partner’ philosophy seamlessly across every financial transaction with the aim of having at least 200,000 banking agent locations in 2023. Customers can also take advantage of a special promotion for a 20-baht discount coupon on the receipt for cash deposits at Big C from today to July 31, 2023.
Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Mrs. Prassanee Ouiyamaphan said Bangkok Bank is determined to continuously develop better financial products and services to meet every lifestyle of all customer segments and enhance customer experience in every transaction as a trusted partner. Most recently, Big C Supercenter has been appointed as a new banking agent to provide convenient and secure cash deposits through Big C’s check-out counters (cashier) at more than 1,600 branches nationwide. This cooperation will enhance the service level and provide even greater convenience to customers of both Bangkok Bank and Big C. The banking agent service is a part of the Bank’s effort to provide seamless online and offline transaction services. The Bank aims to have at least 200,000 service points at Bangkok Bank’s banking agents in 2023.
“This partnership will help the Bank better meet the diverse needs of different customer segments as Big C Super Center has a nationwide branch network with large customer base, as well as service hours that differ from our Bank branches, which make them well suited to be our banking agent. Customers can conveniently make cash deposits at the check-out counter, with a minimum of one baht. Moreover, the Bank will continue to enhance its services by working with Big C to develop financial products and services that meet the needs of customers of both organizations. The Bank will open the authentication services at Big C in June this year,” Mrs. Prassanee said.

Customers can deposit cash into their Bangkok Bank savings and current accounts easily using their Citizen ID smartcard and mobile number and make transactions at check-out counters (cashier) of Big C Supercenter, Big C Extra, Big C Market, Big C Food Place and Big C Mini (only participating branches) from 9.00 a.m. – 10.00 p.m. Once the transaction is completed, a cashier will give customers a receipt for their records.
