Cabinet Acknowledged Prime Minister Appointed Economic Minister Committee.
30-6-2019 — After cabinet meeting Mrs.Nareumon government Spokesperson unveiled that today cabinet meeting acknowledged the order of the Prime Minister’s Office on the appointment of the Minister for Economic Affairs as with the following elements
1) Prime Minister Chairman of the board
2) Deputy Prime Minister 1st Vice Chairman (Mr. Somkid Jatusripitak)
3) Deputy Prime Minister 2nd Vice Chairman and Minister of Commerce (Mr. Jurin Laksan Wisit)
4) Deputy Prime Minister 3rd Vice Chairman and Minister of Public Health (Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul)
5) Minister of Finance Committee
6) Minister of Tourism and Sports Committee
7) Minister of Higher Education Science Director Research and innovation
8) Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Committee
9) Minister of Transport, Director
10) Digital Minister Committee for Economic and Social Affairs
11) Minister of Natural Resources Director and Environment
12) Minister of Energy Committee
13) Minister of Interior Committee
14) Minister of Labor, Director
15) Minister of Industry Committee
16) Mr. Kobsak Phutrakul, Director and Secretary
17) Secretary-General of the Economic Development Council Director and Assistant Secretary and National Society
The committee was appointed by the reason that the economic development driving the new economy increasing the competitiveness of Thailand and solving economic problems of different sectors. It is an important policy of the government as stated in the parliament. The implementation of such policies should be carefully screened in all dimensions from those involved in the form of the committee and in the implementation of other development projects, which has an impact on the economy and the well-being of the people that should be considered in the same manner.
The Minister of Economic Affairs has the following powers and duties.
1) Consider and scrutinize important issues in related issues or have an impact on the economy.
In overall, including financial issues, finance, taxation, trade, investment, agriculture
Transportation and Logistics Tourism, Energy, Science, Technology, Research
Innovation and digital for economic development And industry
As assigned by the Cabinet or the Prime Minister before presenting to the Cabinet for consideration
2) Evaluate, analyze and suggest measures or guidelines for proactive decision-making on issues or policies under Article 2.1 to propose to the Cabinet for consideration
3) Consider other matters as assigned by the Cabinet or the Prime Minister.
4) Invited the Minister, Agency, Staff and other committees to clarify Provide information and comments as the Prime Minister or the Board deems appropriate.
At the meeting of the Minister of Economic Affairs Let the following persons attend the meeting. In the event that any Minister cannot attend the meeting For whatever reason, the Deputy Minister then attended the meeting instead of the civil service
2) In the event that any ministry does not have a Deputy Minister or may not attend the meeting for any reason, the Permanent Secretary shall attend the meeting but not be considered as a director.
3) The Secretary-General of the Prime Minister Cabinet Secretary Budget Bureau Director
Secretary-General of the Council of State Secretary-General of the Board of Investment, Bank Representative
of Thailand Thai Trade Representative (if any) Spokesman of the Prime Minister’s Office Or a government official instead
Those with the above positions attended the meeting as the information provider for consideration. Unless it is a secret meeting agenda
4) The Prime Minister may allow other persons in both the public and private sectors involved to attend the meeting as an information officer or the person who can explain as necessary..
5) The Secretariat of the Prime Minister and the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Board
Facilitate the performance of the Board of Directors and perform duties as assigned by the Secretary to the Minister of Economic Affairs
6) In the event that there is a problem with the implementation of this order, the Prime Minister shall decide or order as appropriate.
The Prime Minister Office’s order will be effective from 1st August 2019 onwards
