Resignation of Four PPCR Ministers Has Not Decided,After Royal Decree for Election Published Yesterday.
24-1-2019—After the Royal decree for election published yesterday, by the protest of some political parties requested the resignation of the four ministers who are the key men of Palangpracharat (PPCR) parties, some media asked Prime Minister Office Minister Kobsak Pootrakul about the resignation of the four ministers, Minister Kobsak insisted the same reply as
He answered “The four ministers have to consult about the resignation, the four ministers will resign when ready, each one has difference task to clear before the election.”
All the four ministers has been trying to keep no talk about political after they were warning to beware of doing political campaign through government’s populist policy during office hours (8.00-16.30 h.) when they are working in politician position as the ministers of the coup government but also being PPCR’s key members.
The four ministers being PPCR’s key men who are pressured from the political opposition to resign
from minister post are 1) Mr.Uttama Saowanayont Minister of Industry who are The Leader PPCR Party.2)Mr.Suwit Maesinsee Minister of Science and Technology who are Deputy Leader of PPCR Party.3) Mr.Sonthirat Sonthijirawong Minister of Commerce who are Secretary General of PPCR Party and 4) Mr.Kobsak Pootrakul Minister of Prime Minister who are Spokesman of PPCR Party.
When the political parties in opposition against the government and PPCR party pushed the pressure on the four ministers to resign, Prime Minister Prayuth ChanOcha had mention that the four of them must keep on working as there are many task that they must take responsibility to have it done according to the goal of national plan, then they must not resign.Prime Minister had also compare the situation to the passed government that all he minister also keep on working, the ministers can do their duty as the minister until they decided to work full time for their party for campaigning in the political completion before election.
Many key task of the four ministers that must carry on are including the EEC five major projects which were planed to have its contracts signed before the coming general election, the four ministers being the keymen of PPCR party are all the director of EEC Policy Committee and EEC Executive Committee which ae the key body to carry on all the EEC projects which are considered as the key factor to continue accellerate Thai economy.
The election date was just announced to be held on 24th March, 2019 and the election result must be announced by 9 June, 2019, according to the statemet made by Election Committee Chairman yesterday.
